With its origins as an informal club formed in 1932, it has been one of the most respected & popular sports teams in Australia for decades, with a loyal and passionate fan base.

Newcastle Knights are proud to announce our alliance with National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA). The collaboration between the two organisations was first proposed earlier this year after Newcastle Knights received a nomination from the NDIA for its inaugural “Best of the Big Bash” awards. The link-up aims to improve athletic participation and development opportunities for eligible individuals in NSW, Victoria and Queensland. It comes with an exclusive partnership discount for NDIA clients which will be available on site at all Newcastle Knights home games throughout Season 2020.

The NRL Magic Round will commence from this Friday at Suncorp Stadium through to Sunday night and will see eight matches played over three days.

This comes after it was announced that the club had launched a $5 million corporate social responsibility (CSR) program, which will see its donated funding used as a catalyst for community programs in conjunction with PwC’s social impact experts and local community leaders. The five-year initiative will see the introduction of ‘Premier League For Sport’, where football clubs across Australia commit to engaging new audiences through sport barriers, such as disability inclusion and diversity, by partnering with specific charities and non-profits throughout the year.

Just a few months ago it was announced that John Grant would be returning home to help coach the club’s under 16 side.
