The Bulldogs is a traditional club with a rich history that dates back as far as when the Northern Suburbs District Rugby League Club was established in 1934. Although rugby league has been played in Sydney for over a century and half, it wasn’t until 1974 that this suburb became home to one of the most successful and well-known rugby league teams in NSW – The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs!

The Bulldogs game is changing. That change comes from those who wear the blue and white every week.

Over the last few years, Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs have experienced a lot of change. Coming out of the depths of depression in the New South Wales Rugby League system after a period of poor on-field performance and financial turmoil, fans have provided the club with an energy that has not been seen at other NRL clubs. As Canterbury Bankstown continue to strive for success on and off the field, we should always remember those who have worn their colours with pride and dignity over the years.

Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs are now. The team has spent the last decade losing games they should have won, and languishing in mediocrity. Those days are gone. Over the past few months, the Bulldogs have been building a squad (both in age and experience) that will not only get them to where they need to be next season, but also solidify their position into one of the best outfits in the competition for years to come.
